hide.me ist ein VPN-Anbieter, der eine Universal-App für Windows 10 (Desktop und Mobile) anbietet und schon
mehrfach ein Update hierfür geliefert hat. Die App eignet sich hervorragend zum annonymen und zum sicheren
Surfen im Netz, wie z.B. in offenen WLANs.
Verbindungsdaten werden laut Anbieter, der seinen Sitz in Singapore / Malaysia hat, nicht protokolliert.
Die App erlaubt einfache Server-Auswahl auf vielen Standorten auf der ganzen Welt und ist mehrsprachig,
darunter auch in deutsch. Zum Kennenlernen spendiert der Anbieter ein Datenvolumen von 2 GB / Monat,
zum Testen und Versurfen.
Danach kann man ein Tarif-Paket auswählen, wenn man das möchte. Habe selbst das Jahres-Abo gewählt,
im Premium Tarif. Damit kann man mit unbegrenztem Datenvolumen mit bis zu fünf Geräten gleichzeitig über
die VPN-Server des Anbieters ins Netz gehen.
Bin selbst das zweite Jahr mit dabei und habe bisher praktisch Null Verbindungsprobleme damit gehabt. Die
App arbeitet zuverlässig. Gleiche Benutzer-Oberfläche auf Mobile, wie auf dem Desktop. Gefällt mir sehr gut.
