Zudem wurden drei neue Varianten von Surface Book für Anfang 2017 auf dem deutschen Markt angekündigt. Die neuen Modelle werden die bisher leistungsstärksten der Reihe sein und kommen mit der 6. Generation von Intels Core Prozessoren, einer doppelten Grafikleistung sowie 16 Stunden Akkulaufzeit.
Das aktuelle Modell wird unter dem Namen "New Surface Book" geführt.
